August 22 & 23, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Play Park
Join Jazoo and friends as he celebrates his birthday and the upcoming school year. There will be cupcakes (while supplies last), birthday games, music, face painting, prize drawing for a backpack and school supplies and visits from local mascots. Children can also sing Happy Birthday to Jazoo! Radio Disney will also be there to help celebrate on Saturday, August 22nd, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Schedule of activities:
- Sing Happy Birthday and get your photo with Jazoo, the Zoos friendly lion mascot, and other local mascots in Play Park.
- Sign up for a library card with Jacksonville Public Libraries!
- Kids can enjoy a free mini birthday cupcake (while supplies last) sponsored by BJs Wholesale.
- Birthday games in Play Park, such as a Hula hoop contests, Pin the Tail on Jazoo, and Musical Chairs.
- Music and games by Radio Disney from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday only.
- Free face painting from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
- Animal encounters at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day.
- Prize drawing for a new backpack and school supplies!
Special Admission Offer: With a donation of one or more new or gently used childrens books, each person will receive $2.00 off regular child, adult or senior Zoo admission tickets. The books will be donated to the Jacksonville Public Library. Cannot be combined with any other discount or offer. This special admission offer is only available on August 22 and 23, 2009.
