and I think you don't know Alanis so much that you could judge about her... her songs are not good because of the "hooks", they are good because of her matchless lyrics.. I don't know any artist with comparable lyrics..
often her melodys in many songs are pretty much the same but they get matchless because of the words..

to accuse her because some rhythms or hooks or whatever sound a little bit similar is pretty small-minded.. again: similar doesn't mean stolen...
