I'm really and deeply sad to report that Eric Woolfson, songwriter of the Alan Parsons Project, passed away on December 2, 2009, at 3AM in London, after a long struggle against cancer (see Facebook for the official message).
Eric had a unique creativity and style. Yet, he was a simple man, which considered himself mostly as an author and stayed modestly behind the scenes.
