@Bowmaj21 lot more money than just for the wii, it doesn't cost a single arm to port the game with higher res textures, better anti-aliasing and better controls, they don't have to care about Nintendo fanboyism to keep it on the wii. There is appeal of Sonic, but if Sonic builds mainstream appeal...

I have got my Xbox 360 slim since launch, I sometimes play it overnight for 10 hours+, sometimes all day for over 14+ hours. I play it for over 100 hours a week. No problem, no freezes and no red dot. Although, I do get freezes when I buy used copies of old games, not all of them, but usually.
