Apple was smart enough to transition to Intel architecture? Wrong. They did it only because Mac sales were struggling, and because the AIM alliance was terminated. In the bottom, Apple wanted to keep up with the PowerPC technology, the Intel transition was almost a forced decision.

I would say both the 1977 and this version are equally great. Except the older version is more suited to those who prefer the classic Ringo sound. This has a more post-modern sound, which give the song another meaning, at least that causes me.

@TheWolfdude78 The Pixies only were influential in the movement they spawned, which was Grunge. And let me tell you: those bands were still behing what Britpop and Madchester had, bands classified under those two trends were more influential.

Another difference: the crystals present in the scenery are pink, and not green as in the final version. A nod to the sequels, just like the idea of accesing new levels by falling into certain pits?

@BigKlingy Have you seen Garland's videos concerning the first island of the game? Ripper Roo and Up The Creek were supposed to be in the first island. When the game got decontented and simplified (in difficulty), they moved the levels to the second island. It looks as if this level came earlier ...
