@lolatmyfoot That journal entry was written in 187 of the 4th Era, which begins once the main Oblivion quest is over. Unless your character was an elf and had longer life they would have died of old age, being over 200 years old.

@Cdread Its probably overconfidence that leads to those defeats. As seen here, Maul is pretty confident he can defeat a Jedi Master and Padawan at the same time and thinks he has Obi-Wan beaten. Anakin was outmanouvered by Obi-Wan but was also overconfident that the dark side would give him victory.

One of the great things about this display was that for 10 minutes, nothing else was important. There was no recession, no cruelty, nothing bad. For 10 minutes we could all watch the same thing and be united by its brilliance.
