Our 1986 Ford Mustang LX 3.8 hatchback had the loud annoying buzzer if you didn't wear a seatbelt or if the driver's door was open, but the Ford Mustang buzzer goes back to 1979 and lasted until 1987 when a chime was invented. The chime is also used in many newer Ford vehicles. I'm glad to see someone who knows so much about ignition buzzers.
