PURPOSE OF JYAP FILMS
I don't have a real full cast, I don't have the equipment to make super ass nice video quality films. I always see people flaunt about what equipment they have and how they want to be the best and become Wong Fu and super famous and meet girls and just live for the fame. The true purpose to JYAP FILMS, at least to me, is to make movies that tell stories. People may obsess over the quantity of video cameras they have and all this high tech equipment. For me, its just the quality that I want to have for each of my films. I want to make films that possess the attributes that make a film great, which is a story line. All these over the top action films and graphics cant compare to the true quality of a movie that contains a superb story line and over the top plot. I make videos because not only do I love filming, its just the way you can tell stories through your own ideas. My films, which can be seen on www.youtube.com/jyapfilms, are just ideas and stories that can relate to certain people.

Reminiscent Journey is one such film that possess the emotions and aspects of being in a tough relationship. This movie can relate to people because we always reminisce the good times that we had and how we all long for them and how they are truly unforgettable.

The story behind The Bottled Up Wish was to show how much we always hope and wish for something, and in the end it doesnt come true. What JYAP FILMS shows is the reality of what we go through. Sometimes we lose all but an aspect of hope that things will turn out for the better. The Bottled Up Wish may not have a happy ending, but it expresses the idea that even though we may never get what we want, we all have to move on and to live with never seeing some of our wishes come true.

In either case, JYAP FILMS was founded to film movies and short films that express the reality of what people go through and the experiences that we all share. It was also founded to put more Asian Americans in film because we all know of the lack in Asian Americans in film. The ones that are in are portrayed as stereotypes that just influence Non Asian's perception of what we are in society.

Anyways, this website is suppose to give details of what it is like being a film maker as well as the struggles that I have to deal with and also possible ideas for next movies, as well as issues that i want to discuss in cinema and Asian Americans in film.
