About this user

I graduated Summer 2010 from the New England Institute of Art, with a Bachelor of Science degree in 3D Animation. When I was 10 years old I was featured in the Sports Illustrated for Kids Magazine for a drawing of Boston Red Sox player, Mo Vaughn. More recently, I won first prize for my animation in a nationwide contest for Kodak. My diverse talents led me to film for the number one radio station in Rhode Island, capturing and editing live performances on stage of world-renowned artists such as Nas and Busta Rhymes. Around the same time, I had developed a hand drawn, flash animated website (jvarta.com), which featured my personal art and films. After trying to create a buzz, I was recognized by 50 Cent's own G Unit Records for my web design and animation. I am also a competitive freelancer, as I have done projects for global companies such as MetLife, as well as smaller independent artists and start-up companies. I am currently working full time at Viewpoint Creative as a Designer-Animator. I have completed projects for clients such as HBO, The Versus Network, The New England Patriots, and Screenvision just to name a few.
