@davidtodor I am speaking from experience. I owned a standard a few years back and thought it sounded no different from my old POD. But, I played around on a friend's who updated his firmware recently to the 11.0 update and it sounds phenomenal! I am currently on the wait list for an Axe Fx II.

I've never owned a IIC+, but I do like the IIC+ mode on the MK V. I use the IIC+ mode for metallica and the likes and it sounds pretty good to me.

@Opendenile well i've read two different stories, that it was bought out and they changed the name to fryette so there was still the appearance that steve still had something to do with it, and the second and most read one that steve just changed the name of the company.
