@Mattskate96 Keep in mind that Javascript has NOTHING to do at with Java and that it was only named Javascript for marketing reasons. YouTube also uses Javascript for their video player along with Flash of course.

The best tutorials are from Mozrilla. Google MDN Javascript they will have very good examples and even explain the advanced stuff once your done with the beginner.

In other languages where you play the curly brackets do not matter but in Javascript it's rather important to put the curly brackets on the right side like so:
function message() {
}
instead of:
function message()
{
}
@snuckles108 ActionScript 3 is, not the first one. The first one feels a bit like JavaScript.
