On a mountain side, listening to the teaching of an unemployed former carpenter who loved the poor, disabled, simple, the common folk- both believers & non-believers. Yet who had not use for 'the pious ones'.

2) No, not 'Jesuit infiltration'. Rather: Opus Dei infiltration. Understand who & what OD is & this will come into focus. They have worked hard to destroy the major Protestant denominations from within, as they DO NOT want any real competition for souls.....which they wish to devour.
The Roman Antichrist exalteth himself in the Church against Christ and all that is called God. Protestantism is revived Christianity. The teachings of Christ are the seed of Protestantism. The Reformed Church is the old, the Church of the Roman Pontiff the new.
It came about due to JESUIT INFILTRATION.

Jesus was wrongfully arrested by the 'Church' of His day, subjected to police brutality, tortured extensively in every way possible, subject to rigged trials with false (paid) witnesses, then 'the Church' forced the state to torture him further, encited a crown to howl for His death, so that the state would execute Him on false charges, in the most brutal way possible....
...all because He DARED to criticize the leaders of 'the Church' of His day.

Perhaps you should tell that to Jesus - as that is EXACTLY what He did.
...and why he was arrested on false charges, subject to police brutality, tortured repeatedly, and executed by the state - having been wrongfully accused by the leaders of 'religion', who forced the state to do their bidding: to kill Jesus.
According to Jesus, the 'Church' = those who do the Will of the Father; who LIVE My teaching.
