I've got a number of swell projects keeping me busy: I have a wonderful time performing as a guest sideman with some great folks such as http://www.jazzette.ca
and Nova Scotia's award-winning gypsy jazz band, http://www.swingology.ca
When not on the stage, I'm hard at work writing and recording my own original jazz compositions and Bossa Novas. You can hear samples at http://www.johnmalmstrom.com.
As if that's not enough, I must confess, I'm always game for something new! I've had great success with long-distance collaborations.
Whenever I play, my goal is the same: To complement and blend with my fellow musicians and to entertain listeners with music that is hot and alive.
