Is there an extended version of this particular remix? I have the CD elsewhere, but I feel like the opener is supposed to be longer. Also, after the piano isn't there supposed to be acoustic guitar? I am a bit confused, any help would be lovely.

Considering the long lifespans of Time Lords, especially with regenerations, it makes sense that The Master and The Doctor would have childish tendencies. For all we know, they could still be considered quite young for Time Lords.
