HA! I have a leopard tortoise that sleeps like that. My sulcata and my redfoot both stay in their shes when they sleep but the leopard likes to stretch. I guess it's a personality thing

Another petco rescuer here. My girl Tanaka had shell rot and really dry skin. just started treating the shell rot and getting her daily baths to get her good and hydrated.
It's really sad how petco treats such beautiful torts.

@nathan7grind Believe it or not they like moisture. It helps keep their shell smooth. The trick is not to keep them moist all the time. Runny nose is usually a result of too much heat and dry air and dirty drinking water.
