My Wal-Mart Mossburg is a piece of shit since I has to take it apart to clean it. Maybe they are great for cheap home defense and nothing else. But, my advice, is don't get it dirty because they are too hard to put back together.

This gun is too hard to get back together. I would rather have an automatic. An automatic is not as dramatic or scary sounding to an intruder, but will still flat out kill ya, and still be a good bird gun...one you can take apart and put back together when needed.

If I had one of these for home self defense, that would be the only thing I use this gun for. They are too hard to get back together after cleaning. Not sure if it is because mine came from Wal-Mart or not, but it is a piece of junk after disassembly

Pump shot guns are bitch to reassemble. Just one consideration, if you plan on actually using the gun for something besides hiding under the bed.
