@bjdepro Colors of the Wind was the right choice for this video, even if it's not as upbeat. After all, it's that song and that sequence that most people remember from Pocahontas. But while Hellfire is one of the better scenes from Hunchback, I do agree that it was a bit out of place.

The girl is way too upbeat when reporting Whitney's death.

Overall nice trailer, but they gave away a bit too much of the plot.

@uhf7618x AI Ah, I forgot about the 70s. I admit, I have not seen the Deer Hunter, The Sting, or The French Connection so I should probably have seen those before saying 90s was the best.

I'm not a fan of the 80s...they tended to either be overlong biographies or lifetime like dramas.

You know what, I actually like Eve better when she drops the act and lets her evil self be known. The whole humble, apologetic, and innocent act was really annoying, and I found her apparent obession with Margo very creepy.

Gone with the Wind and The Wizard of Oz are two of the greatest movie classics of all time. It's too bad they had to come out in the same year, they both deserved to win.

Crash had a horrible screenplay where the characters just blatantly stated the themes of the movie (which, by the way were that everyone is deep down a racist and anyone who says otherwise is in denial). I feel like they just were worried about Brokeback being too controversial (which it was)....

Braveheart should have won best dramatic score. The movie would not be nearly as moving or Oscar worthy without it. And while Pocahontas is a flawed movie, I think the wins for Best Musical Score and Best Song were well deserved. Colors of the Wind is a great song and the sequence where Pocaho...

Who the heck are the people cheering for the extremely loud and incredibly close nominations?

It's not a bad scene, but it slows down the pacing and makes Rose looks more selfish.

Don't get whats so bad about Megan in the trailer. How would you have said "What do you believe?" differently? I do find it odd that she calls the oscar statue an "Old friend" though...I mean, it's not like she's ever won an oscar.

@cornstarch27 I don't think Old Lola was dumb. The comparison had more to do with how they were trying to portray her as a sex symbol (though that is a bit odd now that I think of it, since she is an animated rabbit)

I think Anne Hathaway actually did a good job hosting...it's Franco whose terrible. He seems high and he acts like he doesnt want to be there. And Kirk Douglas...took way too much time.

@EricAKATheBelgianGuy You don't have to be a fan of Avatar to hate the Hurt Locker. ANYTHING would have been better than that movie. Not one oscar worthy quality.

@TOCR815 They filmed Arwen fighting at Helm's Deep and participating in the charge, but later decided to rewrite her role in the movie and remove her from the Battle. Most of the footage of her is cut, but you can still see her at 4:28-4:30 behind Eomer (she's wearing the dark pink outift), and ...

In the animated movies, Legolas saves Frodo. In the Peter Jackson movies, Arwen saves Frodo. Glorfindel must not be happy.

I think most of the videos attempts to expose the Satanism of Gaga was too much of a stretch. Btw, the music is really scary and I feel creeped out right now.

Anyone find it weird how one minute the sky is dark and the streets are on fire and then less than a minute later its bright and sunny and all of the fire dissapeared?

I hated this film. Still, it's a masterpiece compared to it's sequel.

Honestly, I don't think there are many similarities between Avatar and Dances with Wolves other than a man turning from his (corrupt) culture to go native. The way the plot is set up, it has a lot more in common with Pocahontas. Especially with the spiritual tree theme.

@ThePalaeontologist When people talk about liking Arwen they usually are referring to the movie version. I liked the change of her replacing Glorfindel because Glorfindel just drops out of the story after he saves Frodo. Besides, Arwen is hot.

Inception > Black Swan > The Social Network > True Grit > Toy Story 3 > The King's Speech > The Fighter > 127 Hours > The Kid's Are Alright > Winter's Bone.

Overall a pretty good year for movies though. Unlike 2009.

The movie was like Romeo and Juliet on the Titanic. This is like Psycho on the Titanic. Is she possessed?
