About Me:
 
JJ Demon came up with the idea for his sound in jail. He heard it in his head. He would often try to explain it to people over the phone, but they probably just thought he was crazy. His past had given him a reputation as somewhat of an eccentric and read like a pamphlet on troubled youth; riddled with addiction, violence, crime, death, and time spent in prison. As JJ began vividly describing what he heard in his head (even then he was calling it Funeral Disco), producers began to catch on. Before anyone knew it, a movement was born.

Flowtronic HipHop Dance Rock Lyrical Goth Punk New Wave Electronica Pop Rap. "Scene-Hop". JJ Demon's voice conveys every stroke of paint his brain can paint. His flow and syllable placement are unmatched even by the most gifted rappers, yet his music has a deeper meaning. It's something far more important than braggadoccio and flaunting. He doesn't want "street-cred", he wants to give you his heart in a box. His hooks are catchy, his lyrics witty. It's not rapping, it's songwriting. Funeral Disco IS his genre. He fits into no other. It's electronica/pop-punk/rap with a sinister sarcasm. But f*ck labeling it. Who cares? The point is the world has never heard anything like it, and when they do
