I agree about the ads that have crept in. They are a MENACE and no person looking for a song wants them. If I could block them from my machine I would. They are a toal pain in the butt SO REMOVE THEM YOU TUBE AS THEY SPOIL OUR ENJOYMENT.

"I'll Fly Away"
Some bright morning, when this life is over...I'll fly away.
Hooray! I've been looking for an alto part to sing under the main tune and this version is so clear I can pick it up easily. Like the key change too well done girls. Will look for more of your stuff! Jenny

I'll Fly Away
Me, Zaih, && Ant. We was trying to do harmony. Umm.. it didn't turn out so well but oh well
loved it all. Well done lead great voice

I'll Fly Away -- Vocal, Violin, Mandolin, Guitar (4 Sisters)
Heather 16, Natalie 15, Caroline 11 and Elaina 8, play their Grandpa's favorite song.
Great insrumentally but you are playing at twice the speed of other versions of this song. If you slowed down a bit we could appreciate the harmonies. Great stuff
-
I'll Fly Away
The idiot rdnecks are back. Oh the horror
The instrumental part of the tune is great just a bit more polish on the vocal harmonies needed ; you are nearly there boys and you look the part too. I liked it . Keep rolling

Cliff Richard - Saviour's Day
Music video by Cliff Richard performing Saviour's Day.
Stunning.
Zonkingly good xmas song by the master of variety. He represents what is good in our country and god knows we can do with a heap more of that. In France or America the people would have proudly made him president by now. In this country the small minded and mean spirited continue to kn...

Piper To The End - From The Album [ Get Lucky ] Absolutely Beautiful ........Enjoy !!!!!
It's the sheer variety of subject matter in his songs which is also astounding. Maid O' Fife e o
An irish song telling the tale of a captain who is in love with a lady, who will never marry a soldier.
Well done true to the tune and a sensible version verbally (there are many) and close to what I sing . The other lovely version is Fennario by Joan Baez and someone somewhere has used similar verses for a less upbeat song- both interesting. How is one to pronounce Auchterlass?

Joan Baez - Fennario
Joan Baez - Fennario
What a clear beautiful voice she had.

Bob Dylan - Pretty Peggy-O - Cover
honestly screwing around...bob would most likely hate this cover and quite frankly i don't really blame him
I've looked at quite a few versions and this is pretty GOOD. I LIKE IT. Suggest you put words in front of you beside webcam and then it looks like you know 'em! Keep going and don't be put off by negative comments.

Good to see the original thanks for posting. Anyone know the background to this? Was there a pub in London called The troubador? Does the woman exist ?

LEAVING LONDON
This is a song I learnt from a good friend of mine.. the song was written by Tom Paxton..
Another song which suits your voice- ballad with deep tones. Just wish you hadn't left Croydon then we might see you around the various folk clubs here. 3 of us range round SE London and Kent- 2 of us are traditionalists and Frank is upbeat blues so we influence each other in interesting ways and...

Pretty Peggy-O (Fennario)

Grey Funnel Line - June Tabor (live)
Breathtaking rendition of the Cyril Tawney song. Features Andy Cutting, Martin Simpson, Huw Warren, Tim Harries, Mark Emmerson & Mark Lockheart.
My mate Frank hates dreary folk songs yet rates this recording. I prefer the Maddy Prior/ June Tabor version -see azeyfert comment below- because of the fab harmonies they create. If you want to pick up the alto line theres a fun recording by Onomatopoeia; they are a large group of American girls...

Mississippi John Hurt - Make me a pallet on your floor
Blues/old time classic. I still look drunk but honestly...
As well as "The Hiring Fair" (great song ) you do another John Hurt song I love "I'm satisfied tickle too" - cute song. My mate Frank and I are really into MJH at present and we do "Richland woman blues". In fact Frank often sings the song and I come in on chorus . Do you do that one too or do yo...

Barbie Benton Queen of the silver dollar live
from the Freddy Quinn-Show Country Time
1982, Wiesbaden, Germany
Have returned to this after watching every other version and my verdict is SHE IS THE BEST. A fascinating performance. A lot of her character comes out in this energetic rendition and much as I like Emmylou, she seems wooden in comparison to this lady. Is she still around and is she still singing...

Grateful Dead cover, "Dark Hollow"
Grateful Dead song, "Dark Hollow" by Dickert Stroud
Think I've seen nearly every version of this song from fast to slow and this is a great combination of pace, rhythm (like a constand wheels of train) and vocal interpretation. Sad there are not many good examples by women but I aim to at least sing like this at the next opportunity out.

Dark Hollow
Another clip of the Ernie Thacker & Route 23 show at The Bluegrass Opry Barn in Oakwood, OH on Dec. 10, 2005.
Very different from other versions I've been listening to but really entertaining and the slower pace enables you to get more of the longing and regret into your voice.LIKE IT VERY MUCH!
-
Dark Hollow
A flawless rendition of the song Dark Hollow, by Clint Plumley and his sons Chris & Craig.
Correction CLINT and sons and I think you are American- partly because of the wood clad walls and speech at end sounds authentic
