@Inferno8665 from my understanding, this is because one ear will be more sensitive to a particular frequency more than the other. Essentially, our ears are different to each other and treat sound differently.

Chris, while this method if removing vocals from a song is a quick and easy way of doing it, it has the caviet of also removing the bass and anything that is mixed exactly into the centre. it also doesn't work with songs that are mono.
