First time I heard this I thought it was Pink Floyd. I was told the rest of the album was not Pink Floydese so I did not listen to it, my mistake.

Remember hearing this song living in Okinawa as a kid 70-72. Seems all the radio station played was Carpenters and CCR. Yes, only one english speaking radio station. Still have a soft spot for the Carpenters and love CCR.

Five years ago I told my wife I wanted the best of the Zombies CD. She was born in 1977. She looked at the cover and told me they were trying to do the retro thing. I had to explain they were in style when the picture was made. lol

@cowponyz My Dad was SF and he wanted this played at his funeral not the Ballad of the Green Berets. He was SF from 61-77. It has been a year since then and this song still gets me.
