About this user

I am a Dutch composer, sound designer, instrumentalist who has written music for many soloists, ensembles and theatre productions. Among my recent compositions there are works for De Volharding, Steamboat Switzerland, the Dutch Student Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble Klang and Percussion Group The Hague, Matangi String Quartet, Array Music Toronto and harpsichordist Annelie de Man. Often I use electronics and also create computer compositions. Many of my works include the use of (live) video and frequently collaborate with dancers en choreographers like Ross Cooper (UK), Daniel Belton (NZ) and Gonnie Heggen (NL). Together with Alison Isadora I form the multimedia-performance duo SYNC and regularly perform with the Dutch groups LOOS and LEAMO and the Australian percussionist Steve Heather. I teach composition and New Media at Codarts Conservatory Rotterdam.
