Half Danish half English, living in Northern Ireland. Last of five children - I was an afterthought. :)
My family moved to Ireland in 1970 when I was between 1 and 2 years old - just as the troubles were kicking off. In hindsight perhaps not great timing. My parents had grand plans to renovate a Georgian mill-owners house, which never came to much.
So... after a battle with dry-rot, bats, mice and ivy - I have renovated the Mill-workers cottages beside the 'estate' and have been living there for about seven years.
