I'm not one to say this was Alien Life from another planet. I tend to believe it probably was something that man here on earth has created and kept secret only to be used at it's discretion to further the UFO mystery...
i.e. Why area 51 is the most guarded place in America...

However if they ( the powers hiding behind the curtain ) wanted to roll out the bugs they have in their bag of tricks this year, 2012 does seem to follow an agenda. Because a good ole UFO sightings seems to spark interest in the mystery of plausible deniability... So if by chance America ends up in a battle against an Alien threat this 2012 because we are being attacked by Aliens and millions dieing.... I don't think we'll have to go into outer-space to find who is doing the killing.....

That's my take on the UFO Phenomenon...

Then there is always the thought the lights in the sky are fallen angles...
