Our daughter Madeleine was abducted on 3rd May 2007 in Praia da Luz, Portugal, 9 days before her 4th birthday. She was taken from our holiday apartment where she was sleeping with her younger brother and sister whilst we were dining 50 yards away. Despite a massive investigation led by the Portuguese police and supported by the British police, we still do not know who has taken her, why she was taken or where she is.
Madeleine is a beautiful little person. She was a very happy and much loved little girl. We believe there is a very good chance that Madeleine is still alive. She deserves the love and security of her family. She needs to be back home with her mummy and daddy, brother and sister. Please keep Madeleine in your thoughts and prayers. And please remain vigilant. We will NEVER give up looking for Madeleine ~ Kate McCann

About Me:
I am the mother, of two little girls 5 & 8 the Abduction of Madeleine has truly affected our family. Since Madeleine was taken, Awareness of Similar Stranger Abductions have been Highlighted, all thanks to Madeleine's Campaign there is now a lot more Awareness of Missing & Exploited Children.
Code Madeleine was set up, to Help others that could one day find themselves in a Similar situation.
Kate & Gerry continue to be Criticized, for not Crumbling in front of those that still cant see the bigger picture.
Madeleine's Campaign is not only trying to Highlight the Abduction of Madeleine. It is changing Laws, helping other families and trying to make a stand by Saying Dont You Forget About Me.

Happy Christmas everyone from my family to yours xx
We can assure you that we will never stop looking for Madeleine and our resolve will not weaken, no matter what challenges are put in our way. We are prepared to pursue all avenues if it is felt to be of benefit to Madeleine. We continue to hope and pray that the coming year will be a happy and successful one.
Merry Christmas to all of Madeleine's supporters and our best wishes for a very good and peaceful 2010.
We would like to thank everyone who continues to support and help us. Thank you also for all the Christmas cards, kind messages, flowers and gifts, as well as the many masses and prayers offered for Madeleine.
It is heartbreaking for our family to accept the likelihood of spending a third Christmas without Madeleine. Her absence is even more tangible at this time of year. It is difficult also to believe that another year has passed by.
It has however been an incredibly busy year with so much hard work going into the investigation and campaign to find Madeleine. This fact alone is positive in many ways and probably explains why the last twelve months appear to have flown by! There is however also a feeling of great disappointment when the one thing that we want so badly still eludes us.
It comes as no surprise to me that amaral would try to make money off this unbelievably abysmal situation that has befallen you and Maddie..people in organised crime are maggots, and living off other people's misery is all they know. If it is any comfort to you I have been in a very similar situation myself, and the hate campaign, played out in media, has all the hallmarks of a protection racket of a distinctive crime. The best you can do IS KEEP GOING, afterall, the point of bullying is to make you back down, and they must want you to back down because they believe you have a chance of winning. Dont give up the search, or the struggle against such people AND KEEP STRONG. I am praying for you.
