This recording was simply amazing...I love this album. Played it till it wore out in my cassette player in the mid 80's. Came up with a similar riff from the bridge for my band OBSIDION...always will love FATE/Diamond. Nothing King ever did will compare to the early Fate albums and the first two...

I played the shit out of this cassette back in 86-88. Always been a fan of Mercyful/King Diamond since I was mesmerized by the Melissa album. Saw King live in 87 on the Abigail tour at a club and it was fucking amazing. Andy LaRocque was an amazing guitarist. I miss this type of metal.. Long live...
