About Me:
I decided to "put myself out there" after getting the nerve up to sing before an actual audience. My inspiration for doing so was Josh Groban whom I admire tremendously as a vocalist. The response I got was very positive despite my stage fright which I never really got over.
To all those who have watched my videos and written such nice compliments, I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate the feedback. That also includes the constructive criticism as well. I have never had any professional vocal lessons or training, so what you hear is just me singing from the heart. I don't even do any warming up before I sing (my bad.)
Music has always inspired me and got me through some very rough times in life, and made the good times just seem better! Many times I will just sit down and start singing just to let out some emotions.....or blow off steam :)
I don't own and use any expensive equipment, or use any fancy audio recording software. I don't even use a headset to hear myself singing - something I know I should. My current software configuration doesn't allow for it.
I come from a musical family but no one famous. I grew up in a house with very different musical tastes including: the Oldies, Country, Standards, Rock, Pop and Dance. Sometimes all this was playing at once in different areas of the house!
I try to be very diverse in my musical choices and of course not all of it works, but I try -- LOL
