Thoughts and Ideas...

1. If the Minimum Wage and the Maximum Wage were both set at the same figure (equal), people would work for the love of what they do, and not for the greed nor fear. Bonuses should only be payed for the Jobs that no one wants to do.

2. If Tobacco and Alcohol were sold from Pharmacists along with the other Harmful Chemicals, instead of from Shops amongst Food and Necessities, people would see them for what they really are.

We should dedicate an unpopulated Island to testing theories like these. Call it 'Beta Island'. People who live there must be aged between 18 and 45, willing to sign an agreement to say that they fully understand that the whole Island will have Laws that change every year, to Test which Laws work and which Laws don't. The Residents can leave at any time they wish of course. Each Law Tested will be Voted on at the end of the year. Laws with the highest Votes, stay. New 'Laws to Test' can be 'Voted-in' by the Residents at the end of the year. All of the Residents private details are Published on the Web Site for anyone to see (statistics of EVERYTHING, including Criminal Records & Medical Records). They can Vote on little things (colours of street lights) and on BIG things (changing the countries Dictionary Words and the way the Calendar works). The whole thing could be Televised. Big Brother, but on a massive scale. All of the 'Live Statistics' are published daily on the Web Sites so people around the World can see exactly how the Island is coping with the New Laws/Policies.

Implementing this idea will mean that Countries Laws will be more focused on 'what we know' as opposed to 'what we think'.

Logic will prevail.
