Hi Gemonit thanks for subscribing! This percussive style is so much fun that I thump the guitar a bit too hard sometimes and drown out the melody. Balancing act...all depends on guitar, strings, if I'm plugged into an amp, speakers, microphone, relative humidity, mood, booze, and so on... :)

Yes, I started on electric years ago with Metallica songs and others before migrating to acoustic. Pretty hooked to acoustic now that I'm throwing in drum parts to songs I learned on electric.

Wow you sing, play guitar, piano, and drums?! Any tips on how you sing and hold steady note? Breathing techniques? For me singing has always been a struggle!
