Hey y'all.. People call me lots of different names because of the variety of entertainment that I do but I guess the most unusual one is "QUEEN JOAN" of Louisiana. I feel fortunate to have the same last name as Winniferd Atwell, the Queen of Boogie Woogie. My husband, Hal, used to call me his "Little Country Boogie Woogie Queen" and Queen kinda stuck with him..

I love HONKY TONK piano like Jerry Lee Lewis and Winnie Atwell's style. I started to play at six years old and sang with my mother in church at three. I've been at it ever since. Music makes me HAPPY and nothing would make me happier than to try and put a SMILE on your face.

I live on a farm in rural Louisiana and try to help manage that. I'm just a country girl, and I am ADDICTED to music and laughing.. It's sure helped me through a lot of hard times and I try to help other people see the humor in things. Sometimes I love to dress up in lots of makeup, hats, sequins and feathers but I am still just as country as I ever was..

Seems like I change this page every few days. I have taken down alot of my previous history. It sounded like bragging. I enjoy volunteering for senior, church and civic groups whenever needed..

During the last several months I've started doing some reporting and I'm called the Louisiana Country Reporter or the Louisiana Redneck Reporter. That sounds like a fit to me..
