About me:: l I've been singing and playing piano since I was about 3 years old but was fortunate to be mentored by Les Winslow who was BOB HOPE's piano player during the USO days.. We met him in the early 70's and heard many great stories about Bob's fun ANTICS and how much he loved our ARMED FORCES... That was when I really knew that I would never be a truly HAPPY women unless I was entertaining someone and helping someone forget their TROUBLES for just a bit...

I've done quite a bit of charity work, traveled some and performed my 'one woman shows' in the south USA for over thirty years. I've performed for church socials, political functions, private parties, store openings, weddings and anniversary parties, light background restaurant music, piano bar entertainment, and festivals.. Sometimes folks will tell me when somebody needs cheering up and I'll do a SINGING TELEGRAM over the phone or LIVE dressed in different characters but mostly as ELVA, Elvis' kissing cousin suited for each occason.. We've had a barrell of laughs throughout the years with my comedy and music...

I perform by myself because I never know what I am going to do next but LOVE to have guests come on my shows..

I'm addicted to most kinds of music..Let me say this~~I APPAULD all y'all talented and creative folks here on You Tube, the singers, musicians, poets, writers, directors and everyone that spends their time uploading those good ole videos which entertain us.... Thank ya, thank ya very much. And a very special thank you to all my subcribers and friends here on You Tube who have been so nice to me and MAMA KAT, my 85 year old blind mother who entertains with me sometimes.. . Also to all you fine folks who have allowed this ole Louisiana Country Reporter to interview you or making plans to do so soon, I appreciate YOU !! ... It is my desire to highlight some of the great areas and things we have to do here in Louisiana and the south in the future.. We have some mighty fine folks with interesting stories. It's high time we hear from a bunch of y'all..

My family and I live on a small farm in rural north Louisiana. Camp Creek runs through our back pasture..We have some cattle, a small sawmill and lots of pets.. We invite you to COME ON IN to Atwell Land Farm channel. You will find much variety, surprises, costumes changes and animals here. Please stay a while, come back and bring a truck load of your friends with ya. We usually have a coffee pot on, cooking, making music, playing with the animals or just acting silly..

I'm best known for my boogie woogie piano and Italian accordion playing....I get IN THE MOOD when I'm performing.... I love Little Richard and think of him at times when I'm playing...Sometimes a spell will come over me and it'll make me holler out...Speaking of wild spells one time I tried to put my foot on the keyboard like Jerry Lee Lewis does when he plays that rocking piano.That didn't work at all...This big ole queen will NEVER try that again...lol




I have three accordions now. .There names are Little Red, Silver Girl and Miss Maryetta...They are always stored nearby and ready to go at a moment's notice.. One or more of them are usually at the shows, traveling singing telegrams and most times in the pasture when I sing to our COWS. By the way, I LOVE to entertain animals who are just "sweet things that can't talk human language." I really let my HAIR DOWN when I'm performing dancing routines, going barefoot and acting out comical songs, skits such as Jackie Gleason did, I Love Lucy sitcoms and the Andy Griffith show spoofs--I don't mind one bit taking off ALL my makeup and changing unto a homely outfit if it will get YOU laughing!

I'm a musical storyteller, dramatic story reader, a real life TATTLE TAIL and I also like to perform a little karoake now and then..

I'd just be tickled PINK if you'd let me entertain you in a way that I hope can put big ole SMILE on your face. If if does then that makes a YIPPEE day for me too !!..

Beside being a comedienne I'm a very SERIOUS and sentimental girl and that shows in everything I do. I LOVE life and want to live it to the fullest..

Things I like: Fixing my face up, feathers, sequins, costume jewlery and big flashy stuff.. I'm a frufru girl even tho I was raised on the farm.... When I'm in the pasture trodding through the cow patties I usually have my RED lipstick on.
I tend to think the COWS and bull even like it...lol ..Geez, hope I'm not going to get myself HOOKED one of these days, lol...
I guess I like living on the dangerous side..Playing music to the COWS just doesn't seem right if not dressed fit to KILL. (Wrong choice of words.) So much for that. On the the next subject. I thought you might enjoy knowing that my real name is:
