The appeal of Vampirism is the same as that of Christianity. It's a chance to live forever, a guarantee that your consciousness will survive death. Not much difference between the two.
When Jesus embraced a follower, He would hold him close & bury his face in their neck. It almost appeared that Jesus was biting their neck, & draining some of their blood, while the follower stood transfixed, a look of pure bliss on his face. "Now could I drink hot blood" said Jesus after throwing the moneylenders from the temple. "Now could I drink hot blood. And do such bitter business as the day would quake to look on."
When Jesus returns He will crush the Catholics, bury the Baptists, maul the Methodists... Jesus likes blood, & the taste of human flesh. Christ will feast on the diseased & corrupted bodies of the unrighteous & cleanse the Earth!
Jesus will appear, grinning... His eyes wide, brows arched. His beard will be dirty, matted with brown & red, & in His arms He will hold a lamb. He will speak "Truly I say to you, unless you eat flesh & drink blood, you have no life in you." Jesus will raise the lamb to His face & bite into the animal's neck, & place His mouth over the bite before the blood begins to gush. The goat will writhe & shriek while Jesus drains its life-force.
