Italians are not white, and they know it, but the worst part for them is that all other Europeans know it too.
Italians discriminated in Switzerland:
"Many years ago I was driving to England from Italy with my father when we stopped for the night in Switzerland near Lucerne. As we walked the streets of the insanely tidy little Swiss town, a sign on a cafe door caught my eye. 'No dogs, no Italians.' "

Italians discriminated in the Netherlands:
"Meerloo (1961) pointed out that cafe owners who barred Italians had the often difficult job of deciding whether individuals were Spanish or Italian; there was no objection to Spaniards, but they often experienced blanket discrimination meant for Italians. Meerloo cites instances of Italians actually entering cafes saying 'No Italians' and sitting peacefully at tables. Police were called, and the Italians forcefully ejected."
