italians and greeks are not just friends.they are the same blood.my grandma use to say to me that during the world war 2,the nazis when they took over our town they commited atrocities.after a year the nazis gave the town to italians to hold.she said oh my boy!when the italians took over it was like we were occupied by friends.they would never do harm to greeks and they would even sing and dance together.i know that some italian soldiers even married greek women during the war.imagine that!
