I can´t wait until we get the quantum computer. Contrary to our current computers that are built on the principles of classical physics, the quantum computer is built on the principles of quantum physics or the concept of quantum mechanics which is a completely knew way of processing and communicating information. The difference between classical information and quantum information are bits. A bit is a fundamental unit of information of classical information encapsulated in a physical system which can have two states, something which is charged or discharged or mathematically speaking a 0 or a 1. In the quantum world we have quantum bits, or qubits which can be in a super-postion of being 0 and 1 at the same time. It´s the ability of manipulating the world at the level of quantum-superpositions that will enable us to do computational tasks in quantum mechanics that would be impossible using conventional computers.
The possibility of manipulating individual quantum systems, individual molecules, individual atoms and so on, opens a new area of technological development, like the quantum computer, if its possible to control the interaction of hundreds of qubits at the same time. Quantum-computation will be the most important invention of our time. And physicist actually believe that the new phenomenons entaglement and interference is what gives the quantum-computer is power and one of its most powerful applications will be to simulate quantum systems like designing new drugs to treat diseases. A quantum computer can simulate the atoms in the drug to help us make the drugs and make us understand how it will interact with other chemicals. The chemistry of atoms and behavior of materials all depend on quantum mechanics and quantum computers are phenomenal at simulating that. But one of the most interesting discoveries is that of Peter Shor ( factoring-problems ).
The quantum computer is still a hypothetical computer but imagine if you could break all encryption codes that are in use today for secure communications. This means before the quantum effects develop a quantum-cryptographical- code providing a super secret way to keep information private. But how ? In classical cryptography it is assumed that the system is secure because the evesdropper can´t solve some difficult computational problem. Quantum-cryptograhy works on a different principle. You can´t break a quantum-cryptographical code unless you can break the laws of physics.
The language of atoms is quantum information and if we can understand the communication between atoms it will have a profound change on the way we process information and process communication in the future.

Tomas Tranströmer modtager Nobels Litteraturpris. "För att han i förtätade, genomlysta bilder ger oss ny tillgång till det verkliga", siger Det Svenske Akademi om begrundelsen. På dansk : »Tranströmer får prisen fordi han, gennem sine kondenserede, gennemsigtige beskrivelser, giver os ny tilgang til virkeligheden«.
Jeg beundrer Tomas Transtömers evne til at forene det tætte nærvær med en iagtagende afstand og for den særlige plads musikken har i hans univers. Hans suveræne udvekslinger mellem forskellige sansedimensioner er uovertruffen. "Sørgegondolen", står for mig som et højdepunkt i forfatterskabet. Så meget poetisk magi. Hvilket format af Nordens betydeligste nulevende digter.

Lyrikernes Lyriker , Frederico Garcia Lorca, oplevedede desværre aldrig denne anerkendelse. Jeg er lykkelig for, at det er Tomas Tranströmer, der modtager Nobels Litteraturpris anno 2011.

I was first in my class at Cambridge, I have an I.Q. of a hundred and thirty-seven, and it's been suggested that Stephen Hawking stole his Brief History of Time from my fourth grade paper.
Genetically I was designed for greatness but neurobiologically restricted from attaining it. Stephen Hawkings amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which is a fatal neurodegenerative disease, basically made him an academic celebrity. If hypocrisy was uranium, ARD, MM and AW could power the planet.

Afslutningsvis vil jeg gerne påpege, at jeg ikke kan stilles til ansvar for, hvilke påstande andre mennesker kommer med. Jeg har aldrig benægtet, at jeg har et paranoid følelsesregister. Det som jeg reagerer imod, er den fremstilling som andre er fremkommet med hvor Miriam Meckels venneskreds ( MM ) drager alle mulige vilkårlige konklusioner og masser af slutninger men har forfærdeligt svært ved at bevise dem. Maybritt Illner tror, at jeg på alle måder er sindssyg. Det kan bare være, jeg er en følelseskold psykopat. Disse usandheder udgør en kæmpe belastning. Der er ikke dækning for konklusionerne ud fra en ren videnskabelig synsvinkel.
Jeg har været udsat for en ondskabsfuld hetz og der ingen formildende omstændigheder, ingen alternative forklaringer der kan bortforklare det som der er foregået. Når jeg selv befinder mig i en styrkeposition og har førertrøjen på, hævner jeg mig på en sådan måde, at efterforskningen strander på bevisets stilling.

And the fact is, that neurons make up only 15 percent of our brain cells. Astrocytes/ Neuroglia are the silent majority that communicates in secret. They interact with neurons and can control synaptic communication. With the discovery of the same neurotransmitter receptors on glia as on neurons, Astrocytes are essential for neuronal communication. As it happens, Astrocytes are listening to neurons and talking among themselves without using electricity at all. Contrary to neurons that use both electricity and chemistry to convey information, glia only uses chemical communication to process information.

I am not refering to intelligens but to communication. Astrocytes relate to creativity and mediate neuronal communication. Some Astrocytes speed information between distant regions of the brain helping us master complex cognitve proceses. Neurons may get the attention but Astrocytes are behind most of the brains work. Neurons are the elegant cells, the brain´s information specialist but Astrocyes are the real deal.
I am aware that oligodendrocytes coat axons with insulating myelin.

Chemical Communication.

Why is understanding and explaining the mathematics behind quantum theory interesting, Miriam Meckel ? Because this proves that my Astrocytes are highly creative. Did you now that Astrozytes can control synaptic communication but Schwann cells cannot communicate electrically ? And did you now that the microelectrodes that neuroscientist typically use to probe neuronal function are deaf to Glial communication ? Astrozytes have a language of their own.

Quintessentially, I´m into the quantum world. Do you understand the quantum world ? Can you explain the complicated mathematics behind quantum theory ? I can tell you what quantum theory is. It is a way to describe how the Univserse works on the smallest scales. And what does this mean ? It means that physicists try to answer this question with philosophical speculations, fully compliant with experiments, of what lies beneath quantum theory. With my IQ around 20 ( idiot ) I propose that keeping an open mind about what quantum theory means might open up another new field of physics.
