IslandWood is an outdoor learning center a short ferry ride from Seattle, WA, designed to provide exceptional learning experiences and inspire lifelong environmental and community stewardship. On our 255-acre campus we offer a four-day School Overnight Program, a year long Graduate Residency in Education, Environment and Community, and weekend Conference/Team-Building programs. We extend our reach to off-campus learners through online Educational Media resources and support.

I remember going to IslandWood as a young child going to Suquamish Elementary School. It was a powerfully moving experience.
