Quran 61:8- "Their intention is to extinguish Allah's Light with their mouths: But Allah will perfect His Light, even though the disbelievers hate it"
Quran 40:41 "Oh my people, how is it that I invite you to salvation while you invite me to the Fire?"

"Christ according to the faith, is the second person in the Trinity, the Father being the first and the holy Ghost the third. Each of these three persons is God. Masjid Al-Aqsa is one of the three holiest sites in Islam. It is where the Prophet Muhammad (p)'s Night Journey and Ascension to Heaven (Isra and Mi'raj) took place.
"Limitless in His glory is He who transported His servant by night from the Inviolable House of worship [at Mecca] to the Remote House of Worship [at Jerusalem] -- the environs of which We had blessed -- so that We might show him some of Our symbols: for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-seeing"
(Quran 17:1)
It is during this journey that we received our five daily prayer (search Isra and Mi'raj) for a more indepth explanation.
Jerusalam is a very significant place for Muslims.
Narrated Maymunah ibn Sa'd: I said, "Apostle of Allah, tell us the legal injunction about
(visiting) Bayt al-Muqaddas (Jerusalem). The Apostle of Allah said, 'go and pray there.' All the cities at that time were effected by war. 'If you cannot visit it and pray there, then send some oil to be used in the lamps.'" -Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Narrated Abu Dhar: I said, "O Allah's Apostle! Which mosque was first built on the surface of the earth?" He said, "Al-Masjid-ul-Haram (in Mecca)." I said, "Which was built next?" He replied "The mosque of Al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem)." -Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
"The Prophets built Jerusalem. And the Prophets lived in it. There is not an inch in it where a prophet has not prayed or an angel has not stood." -Ibn Abbas.
May Allah (SWT) grant us victory everywhere Muslims are being oppressed and ill-treated
And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill treated and oppressed? Men, women, and children, whose cry is, 'Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors and raise for us from thee one who will protect and raise for us from thee one who will help!' (Quran 4:75)
