Muslims collected and preserved the knowledge of the ancients, then proceeded to develop and revolutionize it.

Astronomy, mathematics, optics, sociology, geography, architecture, engineering, medicine, and chemistry, are some among the countless fields where Muslims made significant contributions.

Ibn Al-Haitham, Al-Biruni, Ibn Sina, Ar-Razi, Al-Jazari, Al-Khawarizmi, Ibn Khaldoun, Al-Jahiz, Al-Kindi, Al-Idrisi, Az-Zuhri, Jabir Ibn Hayyan, Abbas Ibn Firnas, Al-Farabi, Al-Tusi, and many others are among the greatest Muslim scholars and scientists of the Golden Age.

Before Islam, the Arabs were illiterate desert nomads. After it, the Muslims burst onto the scene as the undisputed leaders of civilization for many centuries.

The "conflict of religion & science" is a Western myth alien to Islam, stemming from the West's unique history with its religious tradition.

Islam has always encouraged logical thinking. The Quran constantly exhorts us to think, ponder, and reflect on the beauty and wonder of the creation, that we may come to believe in God through reason.

"I discovered that this was the only religion which, even in its doctrinal and official formulation, can satisfy philosophic minds. [...] Islam is the only religion, in which superstitious and heathen ingredients are not frowned upon by rationalism, but by orthodox doctrine." - Ignác Goldziher

Only when Muslims descended into the laziness, division and intellectual stagnation that Islam vigorously opposes did they get to where they are today. Only when they followed their whims and outside influence did they go backward. Prolonged foreign colonialism and exploitation worsened the problem.

With their religion, the Christians had the dark ages, and only progressed when they put their religion on the side. With their religion, the Muslims had the Golden age, and only regressed when they put their religion on the side.

InshaAllah, and with the help of Allah, the Muslims will revive the Golden Age of Islam. And it will be a beacon of light for mankind.

There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger.
