About Me:
L'Associazione Islamica "IMAM MAHDI (AJ)" è nata nel 2004 su iniziativa di un gruppo di Musulmani accomunati dal desiderio di compiacere il Creatore ed avvicinarsi a Lui servendo la Comunità Islamica e la società tutta, senza distinzioni di nazionalità, lingua e razza.
L'Associazione si prefigge lo scopo di sostenere i Musulmani nel loro cammino spirituale, di rafforzare la loro identità e di fornire loro i mezzi per realizzarsi in armonia con la loro intima natura e l'ambiente in cui vivono.
E' composta da Musulmani e Musulmane aderenti alla scuola Jafarita o Shiita Duodecimana, i quali intendono approfondire e diffonderne gli insegnamenti attraverso traduzioni e pubblicazioni in italiano ed iniziative di vario genere in tutto il paese. L' associazione crede fermamente nell'unità dei Musulmani ed è pronta e disponibile a collaborare e cooperare con altre associazioni o entità che incoraggiano la fratellanza tra i Credenti. Pensiamo che solo accettando le differenze e valorizzando la propria identità, sia possibile rapportarsi onestamente col prossimo e stabilire vincoli basati sul reciproco rispetto, contribuendo così ad una società migliore.
Siamo fermamente convinti che l'Islam sia una via completa di vita, che conduce alla felicità ed al successo in questa vita e nell'altra. Crediamo che i Musulmani, solo vivendo in accordo alla Luce discesa con il Sacro Corano, saranno in grado di ritrovare quel senso di tranquillità presente al tempo del nostro amato Profeta (S).
L'Associazione, che ha carattere nazionale ed i cui membri sono presenti sulla quasi totalità del territorio, ha un proprio Centro Islamico in Roma, sito in Via Gualdo Tadino n. 17.
Il Centro - che funziona come punto di incontro per Musulmani ed anche per non Musulmani che intendono approfondire le proprie conoscenze e migliorare se stessi in comunione l'uno con l'altro, sotto gli occhi di Iddio l'Altissimo - è dotato di una propria biblioteca con testi, libri e pubblicazioni in Italiano, Inglese, Francese, Spagnolo, Arabo, Persiano, Urdu ed altre lingue. Preghiamo Allah l'Altissimo per il successo dei Musulmani in ogni luogo, nella società e nella vita privata, che Egli ci renda testimoni dell'aurora di un nuovo splendido giorno.

The Islamic Association Imam Mahdi (aj)" was born in the year 2004 through the efforts of a group of Muslims living in Italy to enable the Islamic community to preserve and reinforce its identity and to promote and encourage the unity of all Muslims without distinction of language, nationality or race. The Association aims to comfort muslims and believers so that they will be able to receive the Islamic message and knowledge to their convenience which will allow them to practice the Islamic faith. The Association wants to convey the message of peace and justice throughout the whole society by certifying the presence of believers in productive and cultural activities in Italy. We provide Islamic literature in Italian language for the needs of Muslims as well as non-Muslims who are searching for guidance and who are willing to increase their intellectual and spiritual knowledge. We hope that our efforts will benefit all people creating a better relationship with their Creator (swt) not only within ourselves but also with all our brothers and sisters in faith and the whole society. We would like to collaborate and cooperate with other associations and similar entities encouraging unity and together strengthening the ties of brotherhood in the Muslim community. The headquarter of the Association is based in Rome (Via Gualdo Tadino n. 17). The center works as a meeting point for Muslims and non-Muslims alike as a support for our self-development under the the eyes of God. The center is also abode for worship and conferences. We are deeply convinced that Islam is a complete way of life leading to happiness, success and mutual respect amongst one another and with everybody. We believe that the faith of Islam is so bright that if muslims live in accordance to the light descended with the Qur'an, they will be able to live without any fear or complex of inferiority before anyone but Him (swt) and they will be able to establish that sense of tranquility present at the time of our beloved Prophet (S).
We pray to God Almighty (swt) for the success of the Muslims in Italy and all around the world both in their individual and social lives. May Him (swt) make them witness the sunshine of a new wonderful day.
