My name is Joseph Paul. I'm a singer/songwriter. I was to parents who were heavily involved in their city's thriving music scene. Even as a little kid I was constantly surrounded by music. I remember being around four years old telling my mom to put on our Huey Lewis cassette. I also remember dancing around with my sister to videos on VH-1 like "Something About You" by Level 42 and "Cherish" by Madonna.

Anyway, I started writing songs as a teenager and it's been my thing ever since. My sister and I operate as a duo called Joe and Ellen, and we've worked together on many projects over the years. In 2006 we appeared on Jamie Oldaker's Mad Dogs and Okies along with Eric Clapton, Vince Gill, Willie Nelson and Peter Frampton. I also do solo stuff, and that's what this youtube page is dedicated to.

For me, good music is about love: loving people, loving life and letting all of the joy and the pain come together in this beautiful act of creation. If you feel the same way, then let's be a part of this music thing together through the magic of youtube.
