yeah same here im 13 and my parents dont really like me going to them either...., but you know them they just dont understand the level our love for the band and the music and the way it would affect our lives which is a mission you need to complete :)

eVERYTHING volkens said was rihgt, and yes you 2 do have to attend a concert this year, cause let me tell you it was the best day of my life....a moment that will be remembered forever, undescribable you have to feel it yourselves and hopefully you will. :)

With parents, having too many friends of the opposite gender is something of a problem. Just convince them that your guy friends are as lovely as your girl friends.

You could get them to understand by talking about your friends more often. And you can invite them over if your parents allow, and they could get to know your friend's personality and lifestyle because that's what parents really worry about.

Don't worry, in time you will. But forcing it to happen like the rest of the of the preteens only makes it worse and the parents question your eagerness for independence.

Don't worry. It's because of their view on you as a preteen. They'll start to come around soon enough but if you riot and rebel with them, they'll think you're to eager to become a teen and become too strict.
