Irvinverret's channel

My grandfather, Irvin Verret, recorded with Octave Crosby Rag Time on Jan 1, 1954. The songs that were recorded were, Gettysburg March, Jellyroll, Tinag-a-ling and Bourbon Street Parade.

@empirecarpetsux unfortunately my grandfather died many years ago. He did sing songs, many of those I can still hear in my mind. Somehow the name Red sounds very familiar. My dad talks about all the musicians my grandfather played with frequently. I will ask my dad if the name is familiar.

Westtoledoguy, I could not see the label well enough to read it, but I think my grandfather may be the trombone player in this recording. Irvin Verret played with Nappy in 1948...is there a way you could check the recordings you have and tell me if Irvin is noted as the trombone player in Come Ba...
