I play the piano as amateur, currently without having a teacher or goals to gain certificates etc. My channel on youtube has the following reasons:
1)to encourage people who gave up piano like me to start again, even without a teacher by seeing that is pragmatic to reach a sufficient piano playing level that is letting you have fun, enjoyment and much more
2)to evolve as an amateur pianist -- every pianist needs to a)record and listen to himself b)perform not only for himself in order to evolve (read for more details the book "fundamentals of piano practice" by C.C. Chang)
3)i love watching videos of other pianists, including amateurs
4)..to share the passion
