Scott Thompson has been a Realtor since 2002. His online real estate business has always been a consistent lead-generating machine. Generating high quality leads that convert to long-term clients, over and over again. Not one to boast, he won't tell you how much money he makes, because anyone who knows him, meets him or talks to him, knows he's making big money. Scott's a single father who takes care of his two teenage boys full time. He's also a noted author of many articles published in bay area newspapers concerning real estate, home buying, home selling, Internet buyers and sellers, etc.
Prior to selling real estate, Scott was Senior Director of Business Development--North America and Europe at Mediaplex. While at Mediaplex, he was an international business development team leader responsible for technology sales and services in the following areas: implementation of a proprietary advertising technology - eBusiness Messaging, Enterprise Data Feed Integration, Ad Serving Technology, Retargeting Technology, Online Media Planning and Buying, Campaign Tracking, Reporting, Real-time Campaign Optimization and Customized Return on Investment (ROI) Analysis. While Scott was at Mediaplex, the company successfully completed its IPO and is now owned by ValueClick.
Also before going into real estate, Scott was Business Development Manager at Roundarch, Inc., (CRM Technology Division of Deloitte Consulting).
His business development activities focused on front-office, customer-focused applications (e.g., online advertising, call center solutions, sales force automation, Web self-service, e-commerce and CRM technologies). His responsibilities also entailed selling services around ERP/enterprise solutions (e.g., Siebel, SAP, Oracle) and back-end legacy integration to Fortune 500 accounts.
To this day, Scott continues to consult with companies and individuals to boost their online advertising efforts.
