Finally! I first heard about Intelligence Squared US debates from a cultural guide to New York City. Then last year I noticed Intelligence Squared was offered as an audio file via one of NPR's iTunes podcast channels. I was driving eight hours a day five days a week. So it was wonderful to be able to hear these debates while I worked. It is such a fantastic medium. Anytime I listen to someone speak out on issues now, I'm dying to hear a well informed critique. I never realized how important sharing information like this could be. There should be more intelligent debate and immediate juxtaposition of commentaries.

I hope the Hitchens and Stephen Fry debate can be put up!

Organ transplant is the practice cannibalism by medicine. Organ trading murder for organs is increasing as the need is increasing. Organ transplant is unethical.

I like these discussions, they are stimulating, but I do not like the debate, Oxford style, format which seems to say that anyone should be able to use any device to argue any side of any issue. Somehow it focuses more on the tricks people use, and that I find distracting. For example, in the prostitution debate, equating prostitution to marriage is a device that I think actually stops debate by shocking people into considering something that is absurd, or flips the discussion into a mode where every tiny thing has to be redefined, which there is not time for. There should be a better way to present these data and ideas than in some kind of Olympic contest that relies on tricks and strategy and not on informing the viewer and letting the truth sink in, or questions bubble up to be answered.

level of consciousness, they can, more easily at least, with the help of your debates and videos!
