A sound that loiters within the haze of feelings of pensiveness and alienation from the world, as well as warmth and joyful bliss.

UDP is the musical solo-project of Canadian artist, Plok Rock. Upside Down Pyramid made its debut with the album: "Inkblots", recorded in 2008 and later released in the winter of '09 through Asynianganopcision Records as a digital only release which has been described as an alt/post-rock/ avant-garde record with a bite of symphonic influence.

Plok is also known to affiliate with the entity known as: "Terrestrial" (formerly "An Optional Circus") in which he functions as vocalist / synthesizer & guitar player.

"Ever get that feeling, particularly when you're outside, where you just stop and think, you feel, and remember? You're unsure of what it is you have just remembered, yet you know it was something... Just the way the air feels, the way it smells, tastes, the wind and how it caresses your skin... and it takes you back to a time in your past when you must have experienced the same temperatures, and how the energy of everyhing felt around you. It's as if for that moment, the "past" and "present" collide, and for a split second they become one. Perhaps however, there is no past or future.... There only exist the NOW. Change your mind, change your world. Free your mind, free the world."
