I think that it's wrong that something as backwards and stupid as creationism can be taught in place of a real science education. If private schools are going to fulfill the legal definition of a secondary education, I think they need to adhere to a valid, secular curriculum. Separation of church and state isn't a flexible concept. We need to either truly adhere to the principles we supposedly value, or we mind as well just go ahead and establish a state religion.

The one thing that wasn't mentioned was the metering of the Internet. I think that we need (at least for hardwired connections) to prohibit data caps. Overall, data caps are a serious opposition to innovation on the internet. The prohibition on marijuana is absolutely pointless. I mean for the love of God, The Compultense Univ. of Madrid did a study that consistently showed that Δ9-THC can drastically shrink brain tumors. I am an organ donor because I don't need my organs after I die. I can understand why people dislike the idea of being harvested before they're buried, but I really would find it rather insulting that people were burning and burying kidneys if was about to die without one. I hope that if my organs are ever needed and I can no longer use them, they are clearly available. That said, it's not really something I think every one of my friends needs to know about. More rabid info harvesting by Fb, imho
