Hello, my name is Chris. I am 26 years old and have struggled with being overweight all my life. Over the years I had gained 40+ pounds and it's started taking it's toll on me! I was diagnosed with hypertension in 2007. My typical resting blood pressure was 150/90, so at 23 years old I began taking blood pressure medications. This was a bit of an eye opener as heart disease runs in my family. However, it was explained to me that if I took control of my health and lost weight it would be very possible to reverse my hypertension and no longer need medication. I knew what I had to do, but knowing wasn't enough.
It wasn't until December of 2009 when my wife and I were blessed with the birth of our first child, Christian Gabriel. He became my motivation! I didn't want to be the fat dad who would rather sit and watch T.V. than play with their child! I want to set a good example for him... Okay, okay, and I want to look great too!!!
After watching an infomercial for Shaun T's Insanity I made a promise to myself and my family that I was going to focus and complete the Insanity program. By the 63rd day, I had lost inches all over my body, toned up, and become stronger both physically and mentally. My doctor was impressed and cut my medication in half! And all in only 60 DAYS!!!
