'Inkquisitive Illustration' Is An Illustrative Yet Unique Trend Set Which Is Progressing Through The UK. Having Just Completed A BA In 'Graphic Design/Illustration' And Recently Gaining A First Class In A Masters (Illustration), I have Aided Myself In Working In Various Fields Of Design. To Name A Few, I Have Applied My Skills Towards Footwear Designs, Editorials, Children's Books To Clothing And Much More. Therefore, 'Ink'quisitive Illustration' Does Not Have A Direct Specific Position Towards Illustration, But All The Many Fundamentals Within.

*At Present I Am Only Showing 'Inkquisitive Footwear' - However My Degree Work, Tee Shirt Designs, Editorials, And Further Experimental Work Will Be All Added In Due Course.

My Drawing Style Is Adaptable And Versatile, And It Is Important My Work Is Not Specific To One Area Of Illustration. Some Of The Works I Produce Are Questioning While Others Are Just Pleasing To The Eye.

I Believe Art Comes From The Palms Of Our Hands And From The Tips Of Our Fingers, Which Is Why I Always Choose To Handmake And Produce My Work Through Nothing But Ink.

When I Work With Ink, My Emotions And Feelings Flow Both Within The Ink, Spreading Onto Paper, Material Or Any Medium. This Is How My Reference Has Been Created. The Use Of My Inquisitive Inky Work, Together Brings 'Ink'quisitive Illustration'. I Am Inspired By Apparently Effortless Yet Distinctive Imagery, Rich In Detail With The Inclusion Of Hidden Messages.

For Me Being Able To Illustrate Or Draw Is Not Just A Creative Skill But An Emotional Response, The Drive To Depict Inner Thoughts, And To Portray Them The Way I See Them. I Am Able To Connect With Society Through Visual Beauty, By Not Being Ashamed To Show What Is Considered 'Important'.

Illustration For Me Is Not Just About Spreading Ink Onto Paper, It Is More About Being Able To Depict What Is Hiding In The Corner Of The Mind, Just Out Of Sight.
