@Anne15062908 That's okay! It was a while before I knew this was the original version, too! So many people have covered it that, being born in my generation, if you weren't specifically told it was originally by Joni Mitchell, you'd hear some other version and think that that was the real one!

This is so beautiful! Honestly, it perfectly describes to me how much I cherish being alone. I LOVE my solitude, and I feel that when I'm not invited places, that something's wrong with me. But there ISN'T. I realize things that I didn't think I was capable of when I was alone.

My word! This entire album holds a reminiscence to ... the eighties, I guess. I don't really know.

But other songs kind of reminded me of Arcade Fire ... and this one FOR SURE does! I'm almost expecting Win to start singing along with her! XD

I AM a little worried that they might ruin it ... But so far, I'm happy with the actors/actresses that they picked!

But, I suggest you read the book -- they were great, and, personally, I figure that the books were almost an eerie prediction of what could happen in the future if we carry on the ...

I understand where you're coming from: artists change ... The examples you're giving me just sounds like the artists changing because of the things that influence them. But, really, I don't want to argue.

Some of the little written-in effects they have ... like on the drum cymbals and the guitar ... reminds me a little of Scott Pilgrim ...

I'm not much of a girl for this type of music, because I mostly didn't get the ... well, lyrics. However, you have to have respect for these musicians: Like, my word, I can't imagine being able to play half this stuff ... And the singer! His vocal chords must be jacked or what!

I am going to admit: I have bullied. I think we all kinda have. I tell myself not to judge people by their appearance, and when my friends do so to others, I simply reply: "I'm sure they're a really nice person".

In a society where we're constantly judged, we can NOT let what other people think ...

However, I think only a certain denomination of people should be allowed to do this, because there is only a small percentage of people who can make music this awesome.

The thing I love about her music is the unpredictability and imperfection; not saying that it isn't PERFECT in its imperfection, but just that she doesn't need auto-tune, or drum-machines to sounds beautiful. Acoustic is just as wonderful! Her lyrics are a pure masterpiece!
