About The Koi Whisperer Sanctuary
The Inspiration for The Infrared Light Gallery began in 1994 when fine art photographer MaryEllen Malinowski shot her first roll of Kodak Infrared Film and opened a fine art gallery. Capturing invisible light became her life yet it was when she combined her vision with her passion for Koi that her true mission was revealed.
As an international award winning photographer, author, Japanese Garden Designer and Nishikigoi importer, "M" has combined her visionary Infrared Imagery and her love of Japanese Water Gardens together to create a Koi Whisperer Sanctuary that bridges the human soul of nature, light, & tranquility.
Infrared Light International's philosophy is simple & embraces Zen Living. We understand the power of healing the body, mind & spirit with an enlightening environment and the connection to water and Koi. The energy is amazing at The Koi Whisperer Sanctuary, and M's passion is making that connection for each of us to experience. While visiting us here, clients reflect upon the beautiful Japanese Gardens, Koi Ponds, and Tea House on the Fox River.
